Mr. Deetz founded two other medical device companies, one of which completed a successful IPO, and both of which were acquired by industry leaders and still operate today. His exceptional experience also includes founding a financial services software company, authoring 11 U.S. patents and raising approximately $100 million in private and public capital.
James B. Stake, Independent Director
Mr. Stake spent more than 30 years at 3M, during which time he led a number of 3M's healthcare, commercial and industrial units ranging in size from $100 million to $4 billion in the US and abroad. Mr. Stake has a history of success in managing a variety of businesses from both high growth and mature products to struggling businesses.
Tiffany P. Olson, Independent Director
Tiffany Olson has spent more than 25 years in the medical diagnostics and health care industry. She is currently President of NaviMed, LLC. Prior to this position she served as Vice President of Diagnostics at Eli Lilly and Company, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Roche Diagnostics Corporation.
Dale A. Wahlstrom*
Mr. Wahlstom is a highly respected medical device executive and business leader, bringing Ativa the experience of a 24-year career at Medtronic, most recently as V.P. of CRDM Venture Programs. He was selected by the Governor of the State of Minnesota to serve as CEO of the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, an organization dedicated to the advancement of bioscience industries in Minnesota.

Robert S. Galen M.D., M.P.H., FASCP; Chief Medical Officer and Member of the Board of Directors
Dr. Galen is a well-known luminary in laboratory medicine with extensive credentials in both the corporate world and academia. He is currently Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Georgia, where he was cofounder and then Senior Associate Dean of the College of Public Health until May, 2011, when he returned to the faculty.
As chairman of Biochemistry Department at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and former Director of Clinical Chemistry at MetPath (now Quest Diagnostics), Dr. Galen has been a pioneer in the centralized laboratory diagnostic industry. As former chairman of the board of Abaxis, Inc., he brings substantial Point-of-Care testing experience as well.
Dr. Galen has served as Chairman of the Council on Clinical Chemistry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Chairmain of the NCCLS Area Committee on General Laboratory Practices, and Director of the Standards Laboratory of the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Galen is a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and member of the National Public Health Honor Society. Membership in Delta Omega reflects the dedication of an individual to quality in the field of public health and to protection and advancement of the health of all people.
